Trying to improve my english.

Publicado en General a las 10:59 por benji

How are you? We go on with our quick life. Summer is ending and leaving continous work day will be tiring since I have been working six and half hour all days.

Why do I write this entry in english? I have two clear vital targets until end of year:

  1. I *MUST* finish my Degree Project. It’s like a burden and I won’t get calm in my life until I finish it.
  2. I want to improve my english. I had bad teachers at school and I need to remember the basis and build it solidly.

These are my real two targets until the end of year. Could I reach them? I hope so. :).

    Just a few constructive comments:
    - You must write 'English' with a capital 'E'.
    - You should use the article 'the' with nouns such as 'summer' or 'return', 'end of the year' or 'basis' ('The summer is ending' instead of $
    - The proper name in English is 'Degree Project', just leave out the 'End'.
    - You had 'bad teachers at school'.
    - And 'Will I be able to reach them?' instead of 'Could I reach them?'.
    Good luck!!

"Journey" es viaje, no "jornada" :-) Un trabajo a jornada completa es un "full-time job" (y "part-time job", a media jornada).

Pero tampoco quiero decir eso (efectivamente journey no es jornada ;)), pero lo que tu dices no es jornada contínua y jornada partida, sino media jornada o jornada completa.

Wordreference dice que jornada continua es "continous working day" y partida es "working day with a lunch break" :)

Gracias de todos modos por pillar el fallo de journey (bonito false friend…)
